The Transhumance & cie hotel offers 4 superior rooms (including 1 for people with reduced mobility). All different but spacious and comfortable with bathroom and separate toilet (except PMR room) they welcome you in a retro and authentic decor! Please specify in the comments of your reservation if you want a double bed or 2 twin beds; by default the room will be prepared with 1 double bed.
Studios FRET
Transhumance & Cie also offers charming furnished studios!
We offer 2 independent duplex studios with a surface area of 30m2, ideal for 2 people.
Each studio has a separate entrance, a kitchenette, a dining area, a lounge area with pellet stove and a terrace with table and chairs. The bedroom is upstairs with a spiral staircase.
You can stay there completely independently and take advantage of the Auberge's services (SPA, breakfasts, restaurant, electric charging, etc.).
Please note that in these accommodations, we cannot accommodate people with reduced mobility, young children or animals.
Family Suite or Private Dormitory
The hotel "Transhumance & cie" has two large suites / double family rooms, ideal for family stays or small groups. "Passejada" ( Walk in Béarn) and ""Pastoreta"" ( Little Shepherdess ).
Covering an area of 27 to 35m2, each suite is organized with 2 sleeping areas and a shared bathroom with bathtub and can accommodate up to 5 people (1 160cm bed + single beds and convertible armchairs). For a child up to 3 years old and on request, we will install a cot on request at no extra charge.
Each of the suites illustrates one of the hotel's themes (the railway and pastoralism) and welcomes you in a comfortable way with separate spaces, an office area, a courtesy tray and tailor-made facilities so that you can enjoy your stay. stay with us!

Chambre Double
The Transhumance & cie hotel has 3 double rooms for a simple stay for 1 or 2 people. A comfortable bed, a minimalist bathroom and a lovely view for a stopover or a short stay in the Aspe Valley!
Bed in a 4-person dormitory
For a solo stopover or with friends, on the GR10, the Way of Saint-Jacques or for a walk in the Aspe Valley, we suggest you reserve your bed in a suite converted into a dormitory with 5 single beds.
3 single beds on one side and 2 bunk beds on the other with private bathroom and toilet, TV and lounge area.
Sheets and towels are provided and we ask you to put them in the room bins when you leave. You can enjoy all the services and comfort of our hostel during your stay (Spa, breakfast, restaurant, lounge, library, shop...)

Pro Travel
Opt for originality during your business trip and stay in our unusual hotel , formerly the Bedous train station. In the heart of the Aspois valley and at the terminus of the Pau-Bedous TER, 20 minutes from Oloron Sainte Marie, the Transhumance hotel welcomes you all year round.
Our offer reserved for business trips includes, for 1 person:
- night in a double room
- buffet breakfast from 7:15 a.m. (if needed earlier, please ask the day before)
- Dinner is available as an extra from Tuesday to Thursday evening: €20 starter + main course (to be paid at the restaurant each evening).
To benefit from this rate, your trip must be justified by a mission, intervention in the Aspe valley or in the Haut-Béarn region as part of your business or for any associative, cultural or institutional event (proof of professional mission).
Your reservation will be confirmed within 24 hours depending on the rooms available and can be cancelled free of charge if your business trip has to be cancelled.

Option reserved for guests of the TRANSHUMANCE & cie hotel
Discover some local and homemade delicacies and treat yourself to our all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast on the veranda, facing the mountains from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on weekdays and from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
SPA RELAXATION AREA
(Option reserved for guests of the Hôtel Transhumance & cie and accessible only by reservation, from 16 years old)
Nestled in the FRET building of the station, our relaxation area "SHAGAT" ("downpour" in Béarnais) opens its doors to you every day from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (with 2 slots of 1h30) . Equipped with a wood-fired sauna, an outdoor jacuzzi and a hammam , this space offers you an authentic place of relaxation! You can taste local herbal teas while leafing through mountain books by the fire or in a deckchair!
We ask you to take a shower before entering the jacuzzi , to remove your jewelry and to tie your hair. Children (up to 16 years old) do not have access to the relaxation area.
A duration of 20 minutes for each wellness equipment is ideal for your relaxation and to allow everyone to enjoy it! We limit simultaneous access to 6 people so that you can really enjoy a special moment and we hope that this moment of relaxation will do you the greatest good!
For a group of more than 6 guests of the Auberge wishing to privatize a slot, the rate is 10€/person from 7 to 10 people (reservation at reception or by email).
To privatize a slot for less than 6 people, it is necessary to book for 6 people (i.e. €72) or to book the "Private SPA and champagne" option for 2 at €70 from 8:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Donkey milk bath and hay relaxation
At La Transhumance, we strive to offer you the Béarn and the Aspe Valley that we love and this experience should seduce you if you have the soul of Heidi...or Cleopatra!!
Our relaxation area offers you a unique Pyrenean and Aspe immersion:
On the program, 1 hour of relaxation with a bath prepared with 600ml of organic donkey milk from the Asinerie SAUMA in Lescun and our spring water, a delicious herbal tea from "Verdurette & cie" in Lurbe and a little nap in the warmth of the hay. Wrapped in natural and comforting scents, you will not see the time pass.
You can end the session by testing the SAUMA product range: solid shampoo, face cream, body milk, also on sale in our store.
Relaxation, change of scenery and well-being guaranteed!
Whey bath offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

For centuries, donkey milk has been recognized and used for its many benefits, sometimes even being nicknamed "the white gold of cosmetics".
Cosmetics made from donkey milk are highly appreciated thanks to this ingredient, which is a natural moisturizer. Indeed, donkey milk, rich in various minerals and vitamins, nourishes and moisturizes the skin deeply, and can even soothe dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin.
Restorative, donkey milk is a good healer for the skin, which it is capable of cleaning and nourishing in depth.
PICNIC
For your hike or day of walking, we will prepare a picnic for you (reservation at the reception the day before at the latest):
Cold cuts/cheese or raw vegetables/cheese sandwich + crisps, fruit or compote, and cake/gingerbread or homemade biscuits
We do not provide plastic water bottles or gourds!
For groups staying for several days with full board and provided with boxes and cutlery, we will prepare a variety of roasts, salads, homemade quiches, etc.

To celebrate an occasion or a great comfort after a day in the mountains, come and enjoy the Transhumance relaxation area for a moment for two!
You will have the facilities (outdoor jacuzzi, traditional hammam, wood-fired sauna) and the lounge area just for you with the idyllic view of the Aspoise mountain.
Everything will be ready for your arrival with chilled champagne and lots of bubbles!
SPA MATINAL ET PETIT-DEJEUNER
Arrived too late to enjoy the SPA at the Inn or rather in the morning?
On Saturday and Sunday mornings, we offer early access to the SPA from 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. after starting the day off right with our breakfast buffet!
You can then keep your room until noon and take your towel.
Please note that this access is not private and that we ask customers to take a shower before accessing the jacuzzi.
If you have already booked your breakfast with your room, access to the SPA in the morning will be charged 14€/person.

For an end of the day at the hotel Spa, you can rent a bathrobe if you don't have one in your suitcase!
Access to electrical terminal

Come to the Aspe Valley with your electric car and recharge it at the Transhumance!
We have installed a terminal at the station for the Auberge's customers.
Please book before your arrival to ensure the availability of the terminal. We will connect it with you during the reception from 5pm to 6:30pm. Otherwise, a terminal is available at the car park at the entrance to the village near the bakery: https://www.sdepa.fr/
For a holiday based on soft mobility, departing from Bedous station:
- TER Bedous-Pau train with stop at Sarrance, Lurbe for a return trip on the Way of St. James
- Regional bus line to Etsaut (chemin de la Mâture and Fort du Portalé), Sansanet car park (Lac d'Estaens), Peyranère (Plateau de la Gentiane), Somport or Canfranc station (for the train station, the bunkers...and the chocolate a la taza y churros at the El Andén cafeteria)...
- Electric bicycles installed by the Community of Communes at the station
- Walks and hikes in Aspe: from the most bucolic to the most sporty!
ROOM SERVICE
Our restaurant is closed? A late arrival? Want to eat something quickly in your room or in the lounge?
We will prepare a room service basket for you and leave it in your room or in the living room. You will need to heat the jar in the microwave in the living room.
We have chosen the French company "Vrai et Bon" for jars of meals to reheat and complete our room service offer with desserts (cheese plate, chocolate fondant, fresh fruit salad, sheep's milk ice cream, milhassou, etc.)

1/2 BOUTEILLE DE CHAMPAGNE
An occasion to celebrate? We will have a 1/2 bottle (37.5CL) of Louis Tollet brut champagne with 2 glasses in your room before your arrival!
BABY COT
To travel light, you can rent a travel cot for your child up to 3 years old. The sheet and blanket are provided and the price must be paid once for the entire stay. For reasons of space or security, we will only be able to install a baby bed in a superior room or a suite (and therefore neither in a double room nor in a studio).
